We heard multiple time from our customers about the "Fuel Surcharge" and would like to share some insight on this topic. Limo companies in Boston sometimes will charge you a fuel surcharge and it becomes more popular. One of the ways, they can increase the price of the trip.
In reality fuel surcharge can only be applies if your trip exceeds 50 miles from point A to point B.
When you book your car or limo service next time, know in advance what is your total milage and ask reservation specialist during the booking process if they will have "fuel surcharge". Another way to insure you do not get charged is to reserve your next trip with BTE Car Service :)))
We only apply fuel surcharge on car or limousine service where trip from point A to point B is greater than 200 miles! As you may already know, we build our business based on the customer satisfaction! Have a safe trip!

Difference in price
How come car service and limo service prices at times are dramatically different among companies.
Good analogy to use in this case would be "food calories". What does food calories and car service have in common one might ask. Here is our explanation. If you were to purchase 1,000 calories for your lunch, you would be presented with several options, for example:
Purchase 2 double-cheeseburger from MC and it will get you 1K calories for $2 plus tax :)
At the same time 1,000 calories in places such as Panera Bread can cost anywhere from 8-10 dollars. Idea is simple, better quality calories you purchase, more you have to pay. Same can be applied to car and limo service in Boston and most other major cities in US. If quality of service is important, if you are looking for safe and reliable car service company with good reputation, chances are the price will be a bit higher. Sometimes it makes sense to pay 5-10 dollars more and enjoy your service. After all it is your safety and reputation!
Have a safe trip!
